Travel notes
Borough Market is London's famous wholesale and retail food market. In Southwark, it is one of the city's biggest and oldest markets, selling produce brought from all over the world.

The opening times recorded in this original post were 2–8 am on weekdays for wholesale; for retail, Thursday 11 am–5 pm, Friday noon–6 pm and Saturday 9 am–5 pm, with the market closed on Sundays.

You can buy vegetables, fruit, cheese, fish, meat, bread, coffee, baked goods, cakes, food from stalls and much more. Even if you aren't buying anything, visit for the colourful sights and a taste of the fresh produce. They offer samples, too!

26 kinds of mustard
It is one of London's loveliest, most enjoyable and most distinctly London places. The photograph shows 26 kinds of mustard that you can taste. Though I wouldn't recommend the mushroom one 🙂

We bought some of these cheeses. If you find yourself here, I definitely recommend them: they were delicious 😉
