Day 1: Gaziantep

Drive to Şanlıurfa with a break, then walk around Balıklıgöl and the bazaars. After checking in, keep the evening central without taking the car out again.

Visit Göbeklitepe early and check current entry arrangements. Rest on returning to town and allow separate time for the archaeology museum if you have energy.

Drive to Mardin and park outside the old centre. Take an introductory walk through its stone streets with a view stop rather than visiting every building after the drive.

Check Deyrulzafaran’s visiting arrangements before a morning trip. Return to Mardin for one final central stop, shortening the outing if needed for your flight.
