Arc de Triomf: visitor guide
20 Must-See Places in BarcelonaPasseig de Lluís Companys · Monument · City photography

Built as the entrance to the 1888 Universal Exhibition, the arch makes a short but distinctive stop. Its brickwork and reliefs stand out from conventional triumphal monuments. Walk beneath it and continue along the promenade to Ciutadella; it does not need a separate half-day.
