Day 1: Göreme → Uçhisar → Göreme

Start with a short walk around Göreme, then stop for views in Uçhisar. Return to base in the evening without trying to fit every museum and long valley walk into one day.

Day 2: Göreme → Avanos → Ürgüp → Göreme

Allow time for central Avanos and pottery workshops before a meal stop in Ürgüp. Ask about workshop duration and prices in advance, then return to Göreme.

1–2 hours driving · Overnight: Göreme

Day 3: Göreme → Derinkuyu → Ihlara → Göreme

Leave early for Derinkuyu and Ihlara. Choose a short valley walk after the underground visit and avoid tiring extra stops given the stairs and return drive.

3–4 hours driving · Overnight: Göreme

Day 4: Göreme

Choose the Göreme Open-Air Museum or a nearby valley you missed earlier. Account separately for the airport transfer and keep the final day flexible.
