Day 1: Las Vegas → Springdale

Collect your car and drive to Springdale. Get oriented around Zion’s visitor centre and check tomorrow’s shuttle arrangements.

Day 2: Springdale

Choose a suitable short Zion walk such as Riverside Walk. Rest during midday heat and do not assume permit-based hikes are available.

Day 3: Springdale → Bryce Canyon City

Visit Bryce viewpoints. If ice or storms affect trails, stay at open rim viewpoints rather than descending.

Follow Scenic Byway 12 with viewpoint breaks. After reaching Torrey, take a short walk around Fruita in Capitol Reef.

Choose an open Capitol Reef trail in the morning, then drive to Moab. Check Arches entry requirements and weather for tomorrow.

Prioritise the Windows area and accessible viewpoints in Arches. Start early if adding a longer hike in warm weather.
